{Girls ~ Girls ~ Girls} – CkMetroPhotos Toowoomba

Meet three of the most active girls around !! – in order from oldest we have Chloe then twins Rebecca and Hailea and not forgetting wonderful parents Peta and Mick. We started out at one of my favourite locations the Japanese Gardens, I just love the richness of colour, then we headed over to the park to do some roller blading….. and then off to another wonderful spot for some bubble fun on the hill !! – All in a days work. Thank you to parents Peta and Mick, the girls were very very well behaved and I think we managed top get some awesome photos of them. {Sarah and Brent} – CkMetroPhotos Toowoomba

I really am so thankful that I had the opportunity to meet Sarah and Brent recently for a couples shoot, I have been looking forward to this one for some time because Brent has been busy building a road bike in his spare time. When I met them he assured me that the road bike would be finished (it is such a boy thing)…. So I promised him that I would most definitely get some shot of the bike. We had a very busy little afternoon, we went to a number of new locations today in and around Toowoomba, it is nice to find some new spots from time to time, anyway needless to say we really did have a blast, both Sarah and Brent were up for anything and were happy to work with me, as usual too many ideas and run out of time, who knows maybe next time we might have some more time up our sleeves !! – Thanks guys you ROCK !!! – PS – Brent the bike is Awesome Hope you love the sneak peak !!

{The Boys Have It} – CkMetroPhotos Toowoomba

I recently had a family so full of life and laughter that I finished the session thinking to myself “That was a Blast” !!! – Firstly allow me to introduce the family – Mum (Sandy), Dad (Darren), then there is Cameron, Lauchlan and last but not least Riley !! – talk about having a good time. It was so different working with all boys in the family. I could not resist playing a bit of football (Poor Mum) LOL !! – Well at least you can not say my photo sessions are boring guys!! – Thank you so much Sandy and Darren for being so patient and for waiting for so long, and of course the long drive from Ipswich. {Gold Coast ~ Yervant ~ Photography} – CkMetroPhotos Toowoomba

Some of my regular readers will know that I recently attended a 3 days photography seminar with the photography legend Yervant – www.yervant.com.au, (even though Yervant does not describe himself as a “Rock Star” -which he is ). Yervant has been reported as being in the top 5 in the world of wedding photographers, and after seeing a small sample of his work it is not wonder why. Yervant demonstrated his ability to interact and work with the models and provide us with a lot of helpful pointers, including ways to enhace the photos and how to use the camera is really low light situations. I had such an unreal time and got to meet soooo many talented photographers who were all very keen to learn and share, if any of you are reading this then thank you all it was wonderful to meet with you and share. Here are a few shots from the seminar. I also just about forgot to mention the amazing models there was Danielle, Brigdet (hope that is spelt correctly) and Laura. Ladies you were fantastic, thank you. Last but not least a special mention to Anie for her business Savy !! – You Rock !!

{Introducing Milla} – CkMetroPhotos Toowoomba

Talk about one of the coldest days in history !~! – Poor Chrissy and Milla have waiting so long to have a session with me and finally the day arrived. It was by far one of the coldest and most windy days on record in Toowoomba !!. Milla had a bit of a cold and we all braved the freezing conditions. A huge thank you to mum Chrissy for being so patient and little Milla who despite being freezing cold was soooooo good. {Off To See Yervant} – CkMetroPhotos Toowoomba

I am so excited…………….. the days is almost here……………. I am off to the beautiful Gold Coast to spend 3 amazing days being mentored by one of the greats. Yervant has been reported as being one of the 5 worlds best wedding photographers. Yervant has won loads of awards and in 2009 was the AIPP winner of the “Wedding Photographer of the Year” I am so excited and have been planning this for months and I am finally given the opportunity to spend 3 days with the worlds best. I can not wait to let you all know what it was like and to hopefully share some of my new found knowledge Until I return folks – Enjoy !!!
