Hi my name is Darren, I am a husband and father to one special little lady (well actually 2 special ladies, my wife Sarena and our baby daughter Adelaide). I am a freelance Toowoomba based photographer, living and working in the Toowoomba and Darling Downs Region of South East Queensland.
I have a real passion for photography, infact I never shut up about it
, I loved working with the couples, singles, children, grandparents and families that I photographed over the years. I like to create something different, something that has “Attitude” that I can bring to every shoot.
I love what I do and the people that I have worked for in the past love what I have been able to create for them. Photography is more than just taking a happy snap, it is about capturing a moment in time, something sadly you never get back once it is gone. I spend way too much time in front of a computer perfecting, Star Sign is Aries, I love my food and wine. I am a social animal and love to mix with people, I talk probably too much, and my wife tells me that I have poor maintenance skills, (which i admit I do) and above all love my family. !
My favourite style of photography is “Themed” or what i consider “Creative” shoots. Those people that are creative and want to spend time talking about what they want, what they should wear and where we will shoot are the shots that i enjoy doing the most. I prefer natural light over studio but am able to provide clients with both. I do and have travelled to Brisbane, Dalby, Gold Coast, Stanthorpe and other places. Sometimes it is good to get out an about. My favourite time to photograph is late afternoon when the light is spectacular, cloudy days are also great days to shoot believe it or not.
I enjoy all forms of creative photography. I do the following: Bridal, Portraits, Glamour, Boudoir, Boudoir Couples, Couples, Fashion, Artistic Nudes and Themed to Newborns, Family, Children and singles. I hold a current blue card Registration Number: 760489/2 Valid until 25/08/2013.
