The Good Karma Project !

For a long time I have been looking at a way to provide my skills and services to family’s who’s lives have been effected by cancer or other syndrome or diseases, when my own father was diagnosed with cancer, it had a significant impact on our lives and the lives of friends and family.  Photos are memories, they are memories of the past and of the present.

The concept developed into an idea and I can thank a little girl called EMMA who was nominated for a “Free Photo Shoot”.  Emma, was diagnosed with childhood cancer (muscle tumor cancer) at age 2 1/2 and has in her young life battled not once but twice with this horrible disease, I was so thrilled that I was able to capture some truly inspirational images for this family that they can always look upon now and into the future.

How Does The Project Work ?

I provide my services Free Of Charge to any family of a child/person who is suffering from any horrible disease/syndrome, this includes children who are in remission.  I have allocated 2 shoots per calendar year, at a time convenient for me.  The shoot is done free of charge and the family/person is provided with 10 high resolution fully edited images from the day totally free.

How do I nominate Someone or a Family for This  ?

The process of nomination is very straight forward, all you have to do is send me an email ” darren @ ckmetrophotos.com.au” nominations for individuals and or family’s commence from 1st January every year.  I will need to know a little about the family/individual and all of the contact details associate with them.

Am I accepting more for 2011 ?

- I have my TWO (2) nominations already for 2011 so I will not be doing any more for 2011.

New Nominations open from 1st January each year. – Show the love people to someone who deserves it !
